About Us

CANN Forecast leverages Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to develop proactive, sustainable water management solutions.

Our History

CANN Forecast was founded by the winning team of the AquaHacking Challenge in 2016. AquaHacking is a competition aimed at finding solutions for sustainable water management in Quebec. It was with its InteliSwim fecal coliform water concentration prediction tool that CANN Forecast stood out. CANN Forecast was then mandated by the City of Montreal to apply InteliSwim to a beach.

A year later, the City of Montreal asked CANN Forecast to develop a new model to predict pipe failures. This is how the InteliPipes model was born. Since then, CANN Forecast has been working with many Canadian and French municipalities to predict sewer and water main breaks, and beach fecal coliform contamination. CANN Forecast is constantly trying to distinguish itself and innovate in the water industry.
